I Love You Cynthia
I can't
wait to hold you in my arms again.
I will never want to let you
go.
Love's
Song:
To share
with you the colors of my life;
A
brilliant pink and silver sunrise
Awakening
another day together.
Sunny
days of our endless love,
Fiery
orange sunsets of passion, and
Soft deep
sapphire nights of quiet contentment.
This is How I see us and our future
I
am learning about Cynthia. The thing that really gets me is her
genuine interest in me. Interest in what I have to say and interest
in being with me. There is nothing more powerful a woman can do than
to genuinely believe I am the most wonderful person for her. She
craves my touch and loves me to hold and cuddle her. We have
unconditional love and acceptance and genuine interest in each other.
We cherish and love each other completely. She is be the center of my
life above all others and all things. I am the center of her life
above all others and all things. We share common interests the first
being, health of the body, mind and spirit. We get out in nature and
enjoy Mother Earth and Father Sky. We keep the tabernacles of or
spirit strong through physical exercise. We show love and kindness to
all people recognizing our interconnection with them.
There is a strong connection at the heart level.
There is a strong trust. We are free to be our true selves and know
we are still loved and accepted. Being vulnerable and revealing our
deepest feelings and darkest secrets strengthens our bonding one to
the other. Our commitment is forever, in good times and in
challenging times. Challenges strengthen our love and tie us more
closely together. We work as a team making decisions that are the
best for us as a couple. We equitably share the responsibility of
financial needs and domestic duties. We accept our relationship to be
60% give and 40% take and realize there will be times of 100% give
and 0% take. We expect to be together for all time and eternity,
soulmates forever.
We
are passionate about life and each other, we kindle each others
passion. We bring out the best in each other and gently encourage
personal growth. We understand and accept that we are human and make
mistakes. We are ready to admit and take responsibility for our
shortcomings. We are eager to forgive one another their
imperfections. We know we are unique individuals and may at times see
things differently; we honor this difference and take the opportunity
to see things through anothers eye's. We give and receive
compassionate and empathetic understanding. We ask for what we want
and do our best to fulfill each others needs and desires.
Apache Wedding Prayer
Now
you will feel no rain,
For
each of you will be shelter to the other.
Now
you will feel no cold,
For
each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now
there is no more loneliness,
For
each of you will be companion to the other.
Now
you are two bodies,
But
there is only one life before you.
Go
now to your dwelling place
To
enter into the days of your togetherness
And
may your days be good and long upon the earth
Cycles
Wildflowers bloom on a mountainside,
As
icy waters on their tumbling ride,
Flow in haste to meet the Sea,
On
a cycle that will always be.
Cycles, cycles everyplace,
Even in my life, I face
The
fact that cycles often race
With no regard to proper pace.
So
I was born and grew up fast,
And
now I'm free to love at last,
And
need Cynthia and Brian's to complete the chain
Of
the cycle that is in my name.
Two Birds
Two
birds begin a journey long,
From different points in far off lands;
With a luring urge - in heart a song,
Two
novices heed life's commands.
As
they make their great migration,
Their feeble feet turn to taloned hands;
And
the two reach their destination
As
seasoned travelers in the northern lands.
Still unaware that the other lives,
Each alights upon the very same tree;
And
there the two, as if guided by God,
Fall madly in love and marry.
Thus so it is with Cynthia and Brian;
Two
birds which Heaven's winds did blow
To
this blessed rendezvous of life,
Like the two birds at Capistrano.
The Recipe of Love
The
recipe of love must always include
Some herbs and spices for fortitude;
A
tablespoon of forgiveness -
A
clove of loyalty -
A
cup of faith -
And
a sprig of honesty;
A
pinch of patience -
A
teaspoon of trust -
A
cup of friendship -
And
a bit of lust;
Mix
all these herbs and spices well -
No
other recipe could ever excel;
Add
Cynthia's and Brian's for proper effect;
Then saute the whole in two cups of respect.
Vows
I, Cynthia, take you, Brian,
to be my husband,
secure in the knowledge that you will be
my constant and best friend,
my faithful partner forever,
and my one true eternal love.
On this special day,
I affirm to you
in the presence of God and these witnesses
my sacred promise to stay by your side as your
faithful and loving wife
in sickness and in health,
in joy and in sorrow, as well as
through the good times and the challenging
times.
I further promise to love you without
reservation,
comfort you in times of distress,
encourage you to achieve all of your
goals,
laugh with you and cry with you,
grow with you in mind and spirit,
always be open and honest with you,
and cherish you forever.
This ring is a circle symbolizing the never ending
love that I pledge to you.
I give you this ring to wear with love and joy.
I ask you to accept it as a sign of my love
and with it I join my life to yours.
As a pledge and in token of the vows we have made,
with this ring I thee wed.
